My passion is in photographing the images used to create my Fine Art Photography.
People often call my photographs “Painterly.”
Through years of practice and patience I have developed a unique style. My images portray a distinct sense of composition, an understanding of exposure and natural light, combined with the skills to use my camera and computer as creative tools.
Photography has always been part of my life, and since moving to Florida's First Coast, it has become my passion.
I was born in the Capital city of the “Show Me” state, Jefferson City, Missouri. After graduating from college I began a ten year career in advertising sales. The experience gained there enhanced my sense of composition and color.
My husband and I love to travel. Spain has been one of our favorite destinations for years. My portfolio includes photographs from across Spain, including St. Augustine’s sister city... Aviles.
I am a co-founder and co-owner of Aviles Gallery, 11C Aviles Street in downtown St. Augustine, Florida.
My memberships include the Jacksonville Professional Photographers Guild, the Jacksonville Camera Club, the St. Augustine Art Association, the St. Johns Cultural Council and The National League of American Pen Women.
